The Creative Sobriety Method

A four-part video series that will completely shift the way you view alcohol and what it means to be sober.

Big news!!!

On Monday (5/5) I am moving the academy video series, now called The Creative Sobriety Method, to Substack. I will walk you through the mindset that helped me find sustainable, joyful sobriety while helping you shift your perspective on booze altogether. Over the next four weeks we will explore a modern and empowering approach to ditching alcohol and stepping into a more authentic, fulfilling life. (Spoiler alert: we shouldn’t need a constant escape to feel free.)

If this isn’t what you’re here for and you only want to receive the usual personal narrative and op-ed style newsletter that’s cool! Nothing will be changing as far as the type of writing I share here and the topics I tend to focus on. Feel free to carry on and look out for regularly scheduled programming soon. This is an offering specifically for those who are looking for guidance and support in sobriety and haven’t found anyone speaking their language.

This series will be accessible to paid subscribers only. In addition to the videos and corresponding posts featuring workbook questions and prompts, paid subscribers will also have access to virtual meet-ups and an opportunity to connect with others in the private comment section.

I will walk you through what worked for me and together we will dispel some of the myths around what it looks like to be sober. This is not about complete sobriety (though that’s where it led me). It’s not about counting days or following a set of rules. This is about completely changing our opinion of alcohol and its place in our lives.

Is alcohol causing more problems than it used to in your life? Are you sick of feeling anxious, tired, insecure, and bored with the status quo? Do you feel like sobriety would make your life more manageable but don’t see anyone doing it in a way that looks desirable? I felt that way too.

This is not for everyone. If you hold tight to traditional recovery language, labels, and rules this is probably not your thing and that’s ok! BUT if you have been looking for a new perspective on the sober lifestyle, are motivated by counterculture, crave a modern approach to sobriety, or just want a new fire lit under your sober ass…you should join us. I speak specifically about alcohol in this series, but the same principals can be applied to any substance or habit that you have a sneaking suspicion might be holding you back.

The series is broken down into four parts:

Pt. 1: THE ILLUMINATION-Bringing awareness to ways alcohol holds us back and identifying pain points and triggers.

Pt. 2: THE BUY-IN-We choose to believe in the plot twist that is sobriety and learn to curate the vision of our future self.

Pt. 3: THE PROCESS-The sifting and pruning of our old life. We systematically remove the low vibe to make way for the best vibe.

Pt. 4: THE NEW LIFE- The big shift.

It is my hope that this will find the people who need it, just as others’ work found me when I was beginning my own journey. The paid subscription with full access to the series as well as future premium content is $5/mo or $50/year.

If you feel like this content would be a helpful resource for you but cannot afford the above mentioned prices, email me.

I am so excited to bring this series to Substack and look forward to connecting with you all!
